The restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, located in Girona, is recognized as the second best restaurant in the world at the annual ceremony of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018, held at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.

The first prize this year was won by the restaurant Osteria Francescana under the supervision of the chef Massimo Bottura,  located in the city of Modena, Italy.

The owners of the restaurant, the brothers Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca are not discouraged – in fact their famous restaurant has been in the top five of this prestigious British rating for already 10 years, and in 2013 and 2015 it was on the first place!

1st place – 2 years (2013 and 2015);

2nd place – 5 years;

3rd place – 1 year;

4th place – 1 year;

5th place – 1 year.

We are extremely pleased with the success of the Catalan cuisine and we wish the Roca brothers further successes and new delicious recipes!
