A cette \u00e9poque, les vall\u00e9es environnantes \u00e9taient souvent attaqu\u00e9es par les Sarrasins. Ces gens guerriers mais paresseux ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 qu\u2019il \u00e9tait plus facile de piller et de br\u00fbler les villages situ\u00e9s au pied de la montagne, au lieu de s\u2019\u00e9puiser avec une ascension fastidieuse. Ainsi, le monast\u00e8re a surv\u00e9cu en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e0 ces temps troubl\u00e9s. Cependant, les soldats \u00e9nergiques et curieux de Napol\u00e9on ont quand m\u00eame r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 monter ici et, par ennui ou fatigue (ou peut-\u00eatre qu\u2019ils n\u2019aimaient tout simplement pas le vin du monast\u00e8re), ils ont d\u00e9moli les b\u00e2timents du monast\u00e8re presque jusqu\u2019aux fondations\u2026<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Heureusement, le monde n\u2019est pas sans bonnes personnes et le monast\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle et, depuis 1931, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9 monument national.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>L\u2019ascension jusqu\u2019au monast\u00e8re prend une heure et demie, selon le niveau de votre entra\u00eenement sportif, mais la vue depuis le sommet de la montagne est absolument \u00e9poustouflante ! Eh bien, vous pourrez reprendre des forces apr\u00e8s une excellente promenade dans le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamola.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restaurant La Mola<\/a>, situ\u00e9 dans le b\u00e2timent du monast\u00e8re.
